This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage and short-lived tokens) used on hareloomstudios.com and our related sites (the "Services"). It forms part of our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We keep these technologies to a minimum and use no advertising and no cross-site tracking.

1. What we use, and why

Essential local storage (not tracking). We store small values in your browser's local/session storage to make the site work and remember harmless preferences, for example:

• whether you have already seen the intro animation this session;
• whether you have dismissed the corner mascot;
• your light/dark theme choice.

These are stored on your device, are not used to track you, and are not sent to advertisers.

Bot protection. When you submit the contact form, Cloudflare Turnstile may set a short-lived token to confirm you are human. It is used only for that check and does not track you across sites.

Analytics (cookieless). We use Vercel privacy-friendly analytics to count page views in aggregate. It does not set tracking cookies, does not build a personal profile, and does not track you across other websites.

Strictly necessary infrastructure. Our hosting and security providers may set essential cookies needed to deliver the site securely and reliably (for example, load balancing or attack mitigation). These do not track you for marketing.

2. What we do NOT use

• No advertising cookies.
• No third-party marketing or retargeting trackers.
• No cross-site tracking or fingerprinting for profiling.
• No selling of any data, ever.

3. Managing cookies and storage

You can clear cookies and local storage at any time in your browser settings, and you can block cookies entirely. Doing so is safe — it simply resets harmless preferences (you may see the intro animation again). Most browsers also offer a "Do Not Track" or privacy mode, which we respect to the extent our cookieless setup already avoids tracking.

We may update this Policy; the "Last Updated" date reflects the latest revision.
