Sidekick

Live

Your IT command companion.

Sidekick is a free, offline desktop companion for IT helpdesk techs. A small floating circle sits on top of every window. Click it and a searchable library of 545 vetted PowerShell and CMD commands opens instantly. Describe the problem in plain English, fill in the blanks with a guided form, and copy the ready-to-run command to your clipboard. No more digging through docs, half-remembered syntax, or risky copy-paste off random forums. Every built-in command is sourced from Microsoft Learn, and dangerous ones warn you before you run them. Sidekick never executes anything; it only copies text for you to paste yourself.

    • Optional copy-confirm preview on every copy.
    • A one-time safety notice the first time you open the Advanced tier.
